Dingle Peninsula
Happy 40th Birthday Tony!!
August 15, 2012
This was the first day on our own, without ADP.  We rented a car and in Ireland they drive on the left hand side of the road. The steering wheel in the car is on the right hand side of the car and you have to shift with your left hand.  I let Tony do all of the driving and the GPS did most of the navigating.  I just tried to stay awake and not get sick.  Our first day with a car we decided to tour the Dingle Peninsula.  These first pictures are a drive through some mountains and I think it was called Connor Pass.  It was a very scenic drive.

We thought this building with a stone roof was pretty interesting.

Atlantic Ocean

This is a picture of the ground that Tony accidentally took when he tripped and fell.  Tony never trips and falls so we had to have something to document the moment.

We had to stop and wait for some cows to cross the road.

This is a statue we saw.  There was nothing explaining what it was or why it was there.  You can't see it from this angle but on the back side of it you can see that there is a girl sitting in a sailboat.

We stopped and grabbed some fish and chips in Dingle for lunch.  Then we drove to an overlook of the ocean to eat it.
